Orange County-Eclipse Part One

Ok here’s the thing, I’m fucking sick of a whole lot of things, one being the general overcrowding and lameness in general of people in certain parts of orange county. People flocked here by the dozen based on the same type of unresearched urban lameness that makes people go to hollywood and los angeles. For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, Hollywood and Los Angeles for the most part are a dying, polluted, non-happiness oriented decaying pile of crap. All the things that made it fun and cool died off and phased out of focus years ago, along with the era and architecture that sprouted it’s coolness for a brief period of time. The notions of what those areas are have lured idiots from other states in since I was a child, and all of them paid for it big time. It’s always been crappy always been dirty, always been poorly laid out for driving, and always been a claustrophobic place of despair. I miss the stickers I grew up with that said “welcome to california, now go home…..” I really do.

But for those of you stupid enough to flock to parts of orange county in this last housing boom, I have only one question to ask… What the fuck is wrong with you! The reality of how messed up parts of orange county are in so many different ways just didn’t seem to dawn on anyone until too late. Like hey if I buy a house in mission viejo, or Ladera Ranch, but still have to work in say… Long Beach, I might have to drive longer, and my morning commute will suck.. Hmmm there’s a thought. Ok now multiply that same flat out retarded mentality by 50,000 or 100,000 and that’s pretty much the current situation. If you want to see how scary and bizarre some of the housing situations are for certain Parts of Orange County, tune into this demonic monstrosity for a little bit of a clue……The Irvine Company. Ask yourself this question…. Who in their right mind would move somewhere intentionally where you know every aspect of your life and the very notions of freedom in home ownership about what you can or can’t do with your own home are violated as a standard mode of operation? What qualifies someone to run a HOA? What if you disagree with them? Um and most importantly, unless you are paying my mortgage who do you think you are to tell me what I can and can’t do with my own home? and if I know that before I move there, why would I move there? Think about this for a while, look for further posts on “Eclipsing the Future of Southern California”……

My thought for the day “God doesn’t care if you’re pretty on the outside….”
